Basketball Executive to Speak at Harvard Law School’s Class Day

Bob Myers, the former Golden State Warriors general manager and president, will be sharing his insights and experiences with the graduating students. Myers has had a remarkable career in the world of basketball, spanning over two decades. He has worked in various roles, including as a basketball agent, executive, and analyst. Some of his notable achievements include:

Being named NBA Executive of the Year twice
Assembling a team that made seven straight trips to the NBA playoffs and six trips to the finals

As a member of the University of California Board of Regents, Myers has also demonstrated his commitment to public service. He has earned a J.D. at Loyola Law School, a prestigious institution that has produced many successful lawyers and judges. During his time with the Warriors, Myers worked closely with the team’s head coach, Steve Kerr, and made key acquisitions, including the signing of Kevin Durant and Andre Iguodala. He was instrumental in shaping the team’s culture and strategy, and his leadership played a significant role in the team’s success. Prior to his time with the Warriors, Myers spent 14 years as a basketball agent, working under the guidance of Arn Tellem and later becoming one of his top associates. He also served as vice president for SFX Sports before becoming an agent at Wasserman Media Group.
